May 20th – Paper work, Trip expectations, week overview, Spiritual Prep (42 days out)
June 10th – Coaches/Station Leader Assignments, Schedule Rotation, Team Time material
July 1st – Game Schedule, Game Rules, Tournament Schedule, Final Details, Uniforms

Baseball Camp 2011 Team Picture
FBC McKinney is hosting its 5th baseball camp in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany July 6th – July 15th. Each summer we provide a camp for youth from ages 8 to 17 years old. Last summer we had 190 youth participate in camp and took a team of 29 workers from FBC. The Sports Ministry has partnered with a local church, Christus-Kirche, in Bad Oeynhausen to provide an opportunity for them to engage the youth in a fun way. Baseball is not a common or popular sport in Germany, so many are interested in trying it out. Being apart of the camp, the campers will get training, team time (team building and bible focus), play a game each day and an MLB replica uniform. This is an awesome opportunity for the church to build relationships.
One of the greatest aspects of the trip is your Host Family. You will be partnered with one other from out team to stay in a Host Home. This will be your family for the week. They will feed you, transport you to and from camp, and give you a bed to sleep on. Each year our team members leave Germany blessed because of their host home family. You will make some new friends and a second family while you are there. Each host pair brings a thank you gift for their host home.
Each team member will have 1 of 2 roles during the camp. You will either be a Coach/Assistant Coach for 2 teams and work with them all week, or you will be a Station Leader which does the instruction of fundamental, drills and rules for all the kids for the week. In the evening you will be a part of either the Kids Service or with Adult training.
